Description
A very important grape variety, originating in Burgundy and introduced into Italy in the 19th century, it derives from the mutation of Pinot Noir that took place in the early 1960s.
It prefers cool environments and in Friuli Venezia Giulia it finds its ideal habitat in the northernmost hills of the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC zone.
It is undoubtedly the most successful Friulian wine in the world and has long enjoyed considerable success.

Organoleptic examination
Brilliant yellow colour with slight pinkish reflections.
Elegant, complex and enveloping bouquet.
Floral hints of jasmine and white wisteria blend with notes of ripe fruit, apricot, melon and white peach, all bounced off balsamic notes.
The taste is complex and harmonious, fresh and enveloping.
On the palate, the aromatic sensations are rediscovered, enriched by an elegant sapidity that gives freshness and persistence with an aftertaste of citrus and white fruit.

  • Delivery time: Monday to Thursday for orders placed and confirmed by noon, delivery is expected by 7 p.m. the following day.
