Frescobaldi - Tenuta Frescobaldi Castiglioni Toscana IGT 75cl

Since 1300, the Castiglioni estate has been the emblem of the Frescobaldi family's winemaking tradition. Here began the
production of wines linked to the Tuscan territory, appreciated in the 1500s at the papal court and at the English court of Henry VIII.
Varieties: Cabernetsauvignon, Merlot, Cabernetfranc, Sangiovese
Alcoholic degree: 13.5%.
Aging: 12 months in barriques and 2 in bottle
The grapes,freshly harvested,were destemmed and fermented with light and constant pumping over in steel tanks
thermoregulated. Once the alcoholic fermentation was completed, malolactic fermentation took placeand the wine
beganmaturation in barriques for 12 months undergoing latipic harmonious evolution of the various color components,
olfactory and gustatory. The further period in bottlehas allowed Tenuta Frescobaldi Castiglioni 2020 to express itself at the
maximum of itspotentiality.
Tenuta Frescobaldi Castiglioni 2020 has a beautiful brilliant ruby red color with purple highlights. On the nose, splendid
fruity scents reminiscent of cherry, blackberry, blueberry and mulberry; marvelous the spiciness as well, with notes of cinnamon
star anise and aaleggerasensation of black pepper. At a later stage, it is the roasted and tertiary notes more generally
to emerge. Soft and enveloping on the palate. The tannin is well ripe. The finish long and persistent.
