Alìe, a figure from Greek mythology, one of the sea nymphs, a symbol of sensuality and beauty.Alìe, an elegant Rosé with a clear, pure colour and soft ruby reflections. A refined balance between Syrah and Vermentino, which find their maximum expression in their proximity to the sea. Aromas of white flowers, wild strawberries and citrus peels blend in a delicate structure with hints of minerality typical of the territory, which give a long and rich finish. Enchanting from aperitifs to meals and in good company.
The 2021 vintage reminded us in some respects of 2017, in which the summer period was quite hot and where the proximity to the sea always remained one of the most important aspects in terms of ripening, always guaranteeing a wonderful freshness in the grapes. The rainy winter period made it possible to store water reserves for the vines, which ensured excellent vegetative development and were necessary given the lack of rainfall during the period from late spring through to the summer. The spring temperatures, which were slightly below the seasonal average, led to a slight slowdown in sprouting, favouring a good vegetative-productive balance, optimal for the less early varieties.The absence of precipitation throughout the harvest period led to the grapes being picked at an excellent state of ripeness. All this resulted in a splendid vintage.

Syrah, Vermentino

Vinification and maturation: The secret of Alìe lies in the combination of territorial characteristics, vineyard management and, of course, the human factor. Once harvested, the grapes were transported to the cellar in a short time in order not to spoil or damage the bunches.One of the most important moments in the production of Alìe was the pressing phase.The bunches, whole and in the absence of oxygen, were loaded into the press. The pressures applied during this phase were extremely soft and delicate; this process, together with the careful selection of the musts and their subsequent decantation for no less than 12 hours, allowed the distinctive characteristics of this seductive rosé to be enhanced.Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of less than 19°C. After maturing for a few months on fine lees, including a period in the bottle, Alìe 2021 was ready to seduce and fascinate, making every sip passionate.

Alìe 2021 has a beautiful soft pink colour. On the nose, intense fruity and floral scents such as peach, rose and peony stand out. The citrus notes, perfectly integrated in the context, give a wonderful freshness which is further accentuated by delicate iodine notes. The bouquet is in a state of flux, with hints of aromatic herbs such as thyme and sage appearing later. The taste-olfactory correspondence is impressive, moreover, on the palate one perceives a wonderful freshness combined with sapidity. Alìe is a full, silky and smooth wine.
