PRODUCTION PROCESS.
Hand harvesting. Immediate pressing, fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks for about 10 days. Racking and malolactic fermentation
in wood of different origins (French Oak and Slavonian Oak) and sizes (228L barriques and barrels up to 3,000L). Aging in wood for a
period of about 18-19 months and subsequent bottling. This is followed by a period
of resting in bottle for about 18-20 months before release.
WINE CHARACTERISTICS
Brilliant garnet color, medium concentrated and intense. Aromas of plum, blackberry, morello cherry, mint and eucalyptus, tobacco leaves and earthy hints.
Full and enveloping palate with high amount of tannin, fine and very persistent.
LONGEVITY
Long-lived wine. Already appreciable in its early years but with potential for aging for many years, several decades in the best vintages.
