From one of the areas of Tuscany most suited to the production of white wines, at altitudes reaching 700 meters, a
blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc of great eleganceand refinement.
Variety: Prevalence of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, with small parts of complementary varieties
Alcoholic degree: 12.5%.
Maturation: partially in wood
The grapes were harvested as carefully as possible. Lacura postain vignacunque as well as the subsequent
processing in the cellar helped to ensure a high level of quality. From the moment they entered the winery, the grapes and
consequentlythe musts were processed avoiding contact with oxygen as much as possible. The pressing cycles were
chosen to allow a gentle extraction of the musts. Alcoholic fermentationwas conductedin steel tanks and a
small part in French oak barriques, all at controlledtemperatures. At the end of its production process,
Pomino Bianco remained in bottle aging. Only after this further period was it ready to make
its structure and its explosion of freshness to the public.
Pairing: Pomino Bianco 2022 appears bright straw yellow in color, almost crystal clear, with slight reflections
greenish hues. The nose presents itself, as in its DNA, with clear hints of green apple and pear, but equally intense is the
floral component, with a rich bouquet of white and yellow flowers among which we recognize linden, hawthorn, wisteria
lily and mimosa. The olfactory finish is reminiscent of exotic fruits such as mango flanked by notes of acacia honey. In the mouth is
straight, very fresh, slightly savory and mineral. Even in the finish its "mountain" character is underlined by a
pleasant freshnesswith citrus overtones.
